Service Facilitator Newsletter

We’re changing the format of our Existing Service Facilitator meetings! Instead of hosting live trainings, our quarterly Existing Service Facilitator meetings will be replaced with a quarterly newsletter for Service Facilitators.

Each newsletter will include important Consumer Direct Care Network Virginia (CDVA) updates. The next newsletter will be sent in July 2022.

2021 W-2s
2021 W-2s were mailed by January 31, 2022. Additionally, W-2s are available online at myADP.com. Please check our W-2 FAQs on our website. For additional information, please contact our Customer Service Center.

2022 W-4 and State Forms
Attendants who claimed “exempt” on their 2021 W-4 form and state forms should be aware that their exemption expired on Feb. 15, 2022. To maintain their exempt status, they should have submitted updated forms by Friday, Feb. 15, 2022. If the forms were not updated by this date, it will result in discrepancies with their tax withholdings.

12.5% Retroactive Payment
Attendants received the 12.5% retroactive payment on February 28, 2022. This one-time supplemental payment was issued for Attendants who worked between July 1, 2021 and October 8, 2021. This supplemental payment was the difference between the old and new hourly attendant rate. Dates of service worked after October 8, 2021 are automatically paid at the higher rate (12.5%). All applicable taxes, withholdings, and garnishments were applied.

COVID-19 Supplemental Support Payments
The COVID-19 supplemental support payments have been delayed. No additional steps need to be taken by the Participant, EOR, Attendant, or Service Facilitator at this time. As more details become available, information will be posted on the CDVA website.

Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) Compliance
All Attendants who are not live-in exempt (LIE) must comply with EVV. Non-LIE Attendants must use the CellTrak app or the Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system to submit their time to remain in compliance with EVV. Failure to remain EVV compliant could result in action being taken by the Department of Medical Assistance Services (DMAS).
