I didn’t work last year. Why did I get a W-2?
For tax reporting purposes, wages are reported when they are paid, rather than when they are earned. Wages earned in December 2025 but paid in January 2026 will be reported on the W-2 for 2025.
How do I know what exemptions to claim?

No, all caregivers who have claimed exempt on their State and/or Federal tax withholding forms in 2025 will need to re-submit a new W-4 in 2026 claiming tax exempt.
