Announcements

As a reminder, the DirectMyCare web portal is not Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) compliant. All non-live-in Attendants must use an approved EVV method for time entry. EVV is required by the 21st Century Cures Act.

Our primary EVV time entry method is the CareAttend mobile app. We ask that you encourage your Attendant to download the app and start using it for time entry. The CareAttend mobile app is user friendly and makes it easy to start and end shifts.

Users must have the GPS location turned on when using the CareAttend mobile app. If it is turned off, your Attendant will be considered non-compliant. Continued noncompliance could result in the Participant being removed from Consumer Direction.

You can learn more in the training materials on the CDVA website to help get started with the CareAttend mobile app today. We also offer a list of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) about the CareAttend app.

Our other EVV time entry method is the CareAttend Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system. This uses the Client’s landline phone. CareAttend IVR is considered an alternative method for EVV. To use this method, Attendants must complete the IVR Registration form which is available on our website.
