What is the Virginia Department of Social Services/Child Protective Services Central Registry?

The DSS Child Protective Services (CPS) Child Abuse and Neglect Central Registry contains information on people who have findings of child abuse or neglect made by a local Department of Social Services office within the Commonwealth of Virginia. The Centra/ Registry Release of Information Form is needed to search the CPS Central Registry.
